  • 1 cup green lentils
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 carrots
  • 4 cups vegetable stock
  • fresh coriander. chopped

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Finely Chop the Carrots and add them to a Saucepan With Water and lentils.
  2. Bring to o boil then reduce heat and simmer for approx. 2S minutes. or until the lentils cre soft.
  3. Leave to cool for a few minutes before adding to a blender with the remainin ingredients and blending until smooth.
  4. Warm through in a saucepan and serve With Crusty bread.

  • 12oz plant milk
  • 1tsp sweetener of choice

Combine Moringa latte powder, plant milk, and sweetener (we recommend honey or maple syrup) to a blender. Blend for 30 seconds, until combined and frothy.

Pour into a small saucepan and heat over medium-high heat until steaming, but not boiling. Transfer to a mug and garnish with cinnamon. Enjoy!

Ashwagandha Healthy Balls

Heat a thick bottomed pan on low to medium flame and add palm jaggery and little water. Keep on stirring this until the jaggery completely melts and forms a string like consistency. Now add Ashwagandha powder. Give it a good mix so that it combines well with jaggery. Similarly add ghee and again mix it well. Also lower the flame and add cardamom powder and wheat flour. Again mix it well and turnoff the heat. Allow to cool this prepared mixture for 5 minutes. When it is slightly warm, shape into balls. Make sure the balls not too small and not too big. Approximately one ounce each. Serve or store in an air-tight container or glass jar.

Bake at 350 degrees until puffy and lightly browned, 10-12 minutes. Remove and cool on wire racks.

Turmeric Tea

This simple recipe for ginger turmeric tea comes together in no time. Here’s how it’s done. The recipe makes for 1 cup but feel free to scale it accordingly.

INGREDIENTS

  • In a saucepan, add 1 cup of water.
  • Add ½ to 1 tablespoon raw, unrefined sugar. You can also use jaggery or maple syrup or skip the sweetener completely.
  • Let the water come to a boil and add ⅛ teaspoon ground ginger (a.k.a. dried ginger powder).
  • teaspoon of freshly grated ginger root or crushed ginger can be used instead.
  • Next add ⅛ teaspoon ground Ceylon cinnamon (also known as true cinnamon powder, not cassia cinnamon powder).
  • Add ⅛ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper.
Recipe
  • Add ½ teaspoon LUXUY LEAF Organic ground turmeric (turmeric powder). If using fresh ginger root, add about 1 to 1.5 inches of peeled and grated root.
  • Boil further for a minute or two. If you have added grated turmeric root, boil for 5 minutes.
